The rate of decrease is 1% damage per 4km (2.5 mi) travelled. This rate is applied equally to each component of your truck and trailer.
There is no monetary cost for these repairs.

What this mod doesn't do

The only file altered by this mod is damage_data.sii, which specifies rates of damage. All other game parameters, including repair costs when you visit service, are not altered.
Cargo damage is not decreased or modified in any way. As far as I can tell it is not possible to decrease cargo damage with distance in ATS.

ETS2 Version Compatibility

Updated for v1.35. May work in previous versions. Will not work with versions earlier than v1.24.
Most game updates do not affect this mod. Please comment below if you find that this mod fails after a game update.

Known Issues

May cause the game to crash or hang if used with External Contracts trailers during World of Trucks events.
