Buran Energia Rocket

This will be fitted for the space DLC after it comes out. It might take a while to get it all working, so be patient.

**Spawns at the Creative Base**
To spawn, open the addon editor and load the mission. After that, press "test mission" at the creative base, it will spawn in.
Note: it may take some time to spawn in depending on your computer

This is a 1:1 Scale Buran-Energia Rocket.

To get up, go to the tower on the left (as seen from above if the vehicle is on the "back")
get in the elevator, press the "up" button and wait for it to arrive.
get into the crew access arm, open the hatch on the Buran (key on bottom left)
get into the commander seat, turn the launch key, wait, control it once you lift off

if you want the mission to go faster, press the increase timer button.

The default burn time of the core is about 8 minutes.



The Energia is a standalone launch vehicle with the Buran spacecraft as a payload.
This is the Soviet equivalent to the United States' Space Shuttle

Unlike the Space Shuttle, the Buran does not use its own engines during the ascent.

The Buran only had 1 flight in real life, and was canceled at the collapse of the USSR

This is a really janky replication of the vehicle.
I stole lots of the interior work from the Space Shuttle which had much better documentation

A lot of information about the Buran is secret, as the Soviet Union wasn't exactly open about their secret projects.
