This mod adds Thrustmaster T248 steering wheel to all SCS trucks. There are two versions: one with a working speedometer and another one with static "T248" on the display. The steering wheel is not in the real size (which is 28cm in diameter), it is 46cm in diameter instead to match the size of real truck steering wheels and not look tiny. In most of trucks it will obscure a large part of the dash but there are trucks that actually look good with it (like the new DAF).
Because of the speedometer the mod is not fully compatible with dash computer mods. If you want to use the steering wheel with such mod, place the dash computer mod above this mod. Speedometer will not work in that case but you will be able to use the modded dash computer. If you place this mod above dash computer mod the speedometer will work but you will see stock dash computer.
Since game version 1.46 the mod uses it's own UI display definition so it is now compatible with any dashboard computer mod. The speedometer version is now also available in every scs truck.
Known issues:
- Unfortunately there is no speedometer version for Iveco Hi Way because there is no space left on the dashboard computer dynamic texture for that truck,
- It's a bit on the heavy side when it comes to the triangle count, somewhere around 18k
