Introducing the Ripsaw.
A Ripsaw is a wood saw made specifically for cutting with the grain, and the concept behind this VTOL embodies just that. This VTOL is my idea of how a very large scale Hemi-Rotor would work with a SCIFI twist. The Hemi-Rotor is a concept that removes the issue of retreating blade stall from helicopters by shrouding the retreating blades within the fuselage of the aircraft. Half helicopter, half dropship, this thing can hover and also fly really fast. I made up the colour scheme of a fictional country from my favourite book lol.
How to Fly:
1) Get in the pilot seat
2) Turn on Power switch
3) Turn on Engines switch
4) As soon as the engines have fully wound up to speed the controls will unlock and you are ready to fly!
5) Use the normal helicopter controls to fly.
6) Use the throttle to engage forward speed either on the ground or in the air.
Other Features:
It will taxi while on the ground with W/S and Right/Left
You can disable the Stability Assistance and fly it without any restrictions
Turn on Auto Hover for a very stable stationary hands off hover in most wind conditions
Autopilot to waypoints set from the map
5 winches for various operations from heavy lift to personnel recovery
All the rescue gear you will ever need on even the biggest mission
A stretcher that can be raised/lowered either from the attached harness or in the VTOL
Oh yeah it's also super cheap to run, it uses seawater as fuel lmao
Thanks for checking it out, I sure hope you have fun with it. Note: I did use a couple of glitches to make this work the way I wanted. I actually built it with regular jet engines at first and it worked better than it does now (it was faster lol) but I really didn't think the sound and smoke fit the SCIFI theme I was going for. Oh yeah, the ramp sometimes wigs out, but will normally fix itself after a second. IDK how to stop it.

How do I download and install mods?

rom\data\preset_vehicles_advancedand extract the files there. - Rename both files to something recognizable, ensuring they share the same base name but different extensions.
- Launch the game and go to the Workbench's Presets tab to see the new vehicle mod.
