History

The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is an American tandem two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather, long-range supersonic jet interceptor and fighter-bomber originally developed by McDonnell Aircraft for the United States Navy. Proving highly adaptable, it first entered service with the Navy in 1961 before it was adopted by the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force, and by the mid-1960s it had become a major part of their air arms.Phantom production ran from 1958 to 1981 with a total of 5,195 aircraft built, making it the most produced American supersonic military aircraft in history, and cementing its position as an iconic combat aircraft of the Cold War.

Features
  • Pilot seat (Guy in Front) and Weapon/Navigator seat (Guy in Back) with dual controls! Both seats can fly and operate the aircraft!
  • nearly 9000 liters of fuel! Aprox range is 120~140km
  • On board M61 autocannon
  • 8 AIM-3 Air to Air missiles
  • 6 Mk.83 dumb bombs
  • Dual Radar
  • Countermeasures
  • Tail Hook
  • Drogue Chute
  • Airbrake
  • Stabilizer systems
  • Afterburner
  • Radar warning system

Startup and take off
  • Flick on your Battery and Instruments in the FRONT pilot seat. The following functions can be activated in both seats!
  • Turn on your fuel pumps (to your right)
  • Turn on your ignition and press both engine start buttons (on your left). The engines will spool up to idle automatically.
  • Give a LITTLE bit of throttle
  • Release your parking brake
  • Give small rudder inputs to steer
  • Line up with the runway and prepare for take-off. Give full throttle and afterburner!
  • Fly away! Dont forget your landing gear!

Its a heavy bird with a heavy payload! At full speed and loadout, it will be a little sluggish. When you used your weapons and fuel, it will be alot lighter and more manouvrable! Also, the center of mass will ofcourse shift, so trim your flight controls accordingly!
