DO NOT USE INFINITE ELECTRICITY OR INFINITE FUEL WITH THIS SHIP!
DOING SO WILL CAUSE LAG OR A BOILER EXPLOSION!

The SS Ulyssea (fictional) was build in 1881 in Bremen, Germany. She was used as passenger and cargo ship for short distances but could also travel the high seas if need be.The ship has a 1912 "His Manul's Voice" 78 RPM Gramophone. She was refitted in 1901 and 1912 with upgraded electrics. During WW1 she didn't see much service. After WW1 she did some deliveries again but was ultimately scrapped in 1925.

Starting the ship:
-open manual valves for firebox to air/exhaust/coolant
Blue valve = Oxygen
Black Valve = Exhaust
Red Valve = Coolant
-wait a bit or use the control lever to increase firebox temperature (160°C is the recommended working temperature, staying over it for too long will likely cause an explosion)
-throttle up the engine and clutch it in

!!!
There seems to have been confusion about the water refill pump! You will practically never need to use it. The entire steam is in a closed circuit system and the refill pump is there in case damage causes leaks and you have to refill the water. If you use the refill pump while there is still 170-150L of water in the boiler (you can see on the water level at the boiler) you will clog up the system and it won't function sufficiently anymore. I will get rid of the closed circuit for steam once stormworks fixes the desalinator

Aditionally:
-an autopilot is installed on the bridge
-turning off the general breaker while the ship is moving may result in an explosion (electricity is necessary for boiler control)
-you don't need the water pump 99% of the time. If you use while the boiler still has more than 50L of water it will clog up the system and stop the steam engine from working properly

Have fun!

btw thanks to my dear chap Cheko for making the toilets (he knows a thing or two about toilets)

It seems I have to explain this in the description as well.
I based this ship on the SS Dunara Castle, a real ship that I stumbled across in Transport Fever 2. GBDanny based his Harlech Castle (which is roughly 3 years old) on the same ship which explains the similarities. That we used the same ship as base is a coincidence. So please stop with the Harlech Castle comparisons.

For vehicle mods

  1. Download the .zip archive containing the vehicle mod files.
  2. Locate your game's root folder.
  3. Navigate to rom\data\preset_vehicles_advanced and extract the files there.
