The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engine heavy bomber developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) The B-17 was primarily employed by the USAAF in the daylight strategic bombing campaign of World War II against German industrial, military and civilian targets. The United States Eighth Air Force, based at many airfields in central, eastern and southern England, and the Fifteenth Air Force, based in Italy, complemented the RAF Bomber Command's night-time area bombing in the Combined Bomber Offensive to help secure air superiority over the cities, factories and battlefields of Western Europe in preparation for the invasion of France in 1944. The B-17 also participated to a lesser extent in the Pacific War, early in World War II, where it conducted raids against Japanese shipping and airfields.

- Startup

First turn on the fuel pumps then start all engines 1 threw 4
then turn on throttle link throttle, turn off parking brake and then Enable collective
Once in the air set trim to vertical 0.16 for level cruising or enable alt hold
BE careful do not enable collective at full throttle or the game will bug and the b17 will go kaboom

- Oxygen

If you are over the ALT of 3300 ft enable oxygen or you will go kaboom :(
there is a warning to remind you to do this in case you forgot
You have about 2 minutes or so above 3300 ft before you die of oxygen
to fix this you must enable oxygen and then you will have around (not sure havent tested it) but along time

INF AMMO NEEDS TO BE ON

- Carb heating

When in colder climates i would keep carb heating on in tell take off. After take off turn it back on because the engines will freeze up (this also means turning it on when at high altitude)
The engines will start heating when the Carb temp gets lower than 7*F

- Stats

Around 200 MPH top speed
Havent messed around with max range but its far
8 500lbs bombs
Around 10k liters of fuel and can hold more in the AUX fuel tanks

- Update
Fixed issue with spelling errors and also fixed toe brake issue
The throttle linker is a bit buggy so be careful
