There are always lots of bugs in the first few releases for a new version of the game, so please be patient as we work on compatibility issues with other mods. Please post bug reports in the Discussions.

Note that this release does not address some of the bigger issues with the mod that people sometimes bring up. For example, the way that you customize the apparel worn by your colonists is problematic and really needs to be reworked. Hopefully, some of those bigger issues can be fixed in a subsequent release of the mod.
If you're running version 1.3 of RimWorld, make sure that you're running at least version 1.3.3102. The mod will not work with earlier versions of the 1.3 game.
If you've got dozens of other mods installed, it can be difficult to know what's causing this. Sometimes, an error while loading another mod that is before Prepare Carefully in the mod order causes Prepare Carefully not to load properly. In other cases, I have heard that some people have success with uninstalling and then reinstalling the game, but it's difficult for me to recommend that approach. Posting the game's log file somewhere (if you know how to do that) can help, but only do so if this if you've pared down the number of mods you're using to a minimum.

How do I download and install mods?
Simply click the blue button above. It will open the file hosting page with the mod repacked by us from the official source. How do I install this mod?
See the 'How to install' tab.Is this mod safe to use?
The mods are repacked as is, without any additional software, malware, or bloatware added. To check for viruses, use a reliable antivirus or upload the archive to a website like virustotal.com. Anyway, It's always a good practice to keep backups of your saves in case of mod incompatibility .
There is a folder in the .zip archive. To install the mod, move the entire folder (not just its contents) into 'Mods' folder located under your RimWorld root isntallation folder.
So, for steam version of the game, the path would look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods
For any other distribution, firstly locate your rimworld installation path and then unpack the archive into the 'Mods' folder.
Then enable the mod in the game mods menu by double clicking on its name and restart the game
