Ever wondered what happens to all equipment pawns use? Sure, it pops up when the pawn is drafted but vanishes as soon as the danger passes! Well, not anymore. Holsters take care of this issue by displaying each colonist's weapon on their backs/belts!

Overview
- Equipped items are displayed at all times, just like apparel, adding to the immersive aspects of the game.
- Extensive mod settings allow for adjusting the positions of items, so you are not stuck with my default settings! :)

Check GitHub[github.com] for a complete list of current and planned features!

Compatibility/Troubleshooting
This mod can be added to/removed from existing saves without problems.

The mod will display all weapons from the inventory (which can be tweaked in mod settings). Thanks to that, any weapons the pawn is wielding will be displayed, meaning that Sidearms and other mods of this nature should work with no problems (even if you use multiple different ones).

To avoid errors, Holsters needs to be loaded before Doc Pawn Overhaul (credits to phurgawtin)

Using mods that affect pawns' textures or camera mods might cause problems with items appearing behind the pawn.

If you face issues with offsets being different in mod settings, adjust the UI scale to 1.

If you have issue with Facial Animations or Vanilla Expanded mods, enter their settings and turn off "Force No-Cache" option. If you have both mods you need to play with those settings to see what works best.

Combat Extended compatible.

How do I download and install mods?

Simply click the blue button above. It will open the file hosting page with the mod repacked by us from the official source.

How do I install this mod?

See the 'How to install' tab.

Is this mod safe to use?

The mods are repacked as is, without any additional software, malware, or bloatware added. To check for viruses, use a reliable antivirus or upload the archive to a website like virustotal.com. Anyway, It's always a good practice to keep backups of your saves in case of mod incompatibility .

There is a folder in the .zip archive. To install the mod, move the entire folder (not just its contents) into 'Mods' folder located under your RimWorld root isntallation folder.
So, for steam version of the game, the path would look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods
For any other distribution, firstly locate your rimworld installation path and then unpack the archive into the 'Mods' folder.
Then enable the mod in the game mods menu by double clicking on its name and restart the game
