KSG-7 | Sub-Chaser

A Gunboat built by Kruzhink Shipyards, modified to a Sub-Chaser standard, equipped with passive sonar and depth-charges.
It happened so fast. We had been ordered previously to cut corners on the boats, rush them to completion, so they could then be rushed to the bottom of the sea eventually by enemy fire I suppose.
We were preparing to mount the armament when the sirens roared. The enemy had entered the bay which our shipyard resided in.
Speakers which were barely audible over the sirens ordered all ships to sea as soon as possible. Then came the chaos. Every man rushed to board a vessel, knowing that the previous record of indiscriminate bombing meant that they had a better chance on the deck of a civilian ship than on the grounds of a strategic asset like our shipyard.
The orders blared on, becoming almost a slur of words after awhile. "Hug the coast, fly white flags. Have every man stand on deck. Show yourselves to be workers. Pray."
We followed as ordered. We got the boat set to go, set off, and hugged the coast.
We flew a white flag, had every man stand on deck, and every man was told to pray to whatever god they believed in, and if they didn't have one, find one.
We watched as another vessel, an ocean-going trawler, was obliterated by fast-boats.
They were flying the white flag, but still they were taken down.
I heard the yelling of the men on the gunboat's deck. "We have to help." "Turn back." "Where are you going? There are men in the water!"
I couldn't turn her around no matter how desperately I wanted to. We had to keep going. We had to. We were next.
We lowered our flag of submission from the mast as we ran. We then raised a new flag. A pure black banner.
We would survive. We would find a way.

Electrics
• In the ship, on the lower deck, there is a room labeled "Electrical", in here there are individual breakers for each battery if you must turn one off, and an emergency cut-off for all ship electrics if necessary
  Sonar
  
• The sonar is located inside of the CiC, which is behind and below the bridge. Turn the sonar on, and rotate it to the azimuth you wish to check, and watch the sound. Spikes indicate a target, and a good operator can use this spikes to pin point a location and direction of travel by watching the fluctuations in sound level.
  WARNING: The sonar is only considerate accurate within 90 degrees port and starboard of the bow, as once past there, you will receive interference from the propellers. This can be alleviated via slowing the vessel, but never eliminated.

This creation is for my "The Battered & Banished"(TB&B) Project, an alternate history project inspired by World War 2 and that time period.
In TB&B, you will find a story of a shattered Europe and what it was like before, where skilled guerilla forces and organized resistances fight to take Europe back using anything they can find or make, as well as the stories of the civilians trying to make it through such a period of chaos.
