Story
After the occupation, we ended up just becoming ferry-men. Carrying the worst men alive place to place, just so they could continue their campaign of woe & agony. But then the offer came in. A letter. I can't say the real specifics, summarized, all it said was "If you wish to fight the storm, alter course-" and I won't elaborate further. Without really any other options, I took the offer, and so did my fellow pilots of the line. Using some classic excuses, we landed at a drab airstrip on a small island. Soon, motors running wild was all we could hear. This was something larger than a resistance. These lot had been around. These lads sat perfectly in the eye of the storm, and smiled the whole while.

Operating
  • Engine
    1. Enable Fuel Pump and Cooling System on the middle-left panel.
    2. Raise throttle >25%
    3. Turn the Key
  • Land Takeoff
    1. Flaps Deployment is dependent on the pilot.
    2. Once in position, kick throttle to full.
    3. Pitch Up once you surpass 80 Knots.
  • Armament
    Bombs | Toggle Bombs on the Weapons Panel, aim using the planes' nose, and select the ordinance groups you wish to loose.
    Guns | Toggle the Cannons and/or Machine Guns. The Cannons and Machine Guns share a similar trajectory, aim using the sight
    Rockets | Remain as Steady as Possible During your Run for Accuracy. Rockets fire 1 - 1, with 8 total volleys.

    Fire the weapons via your trigger bind.
  • Radar & Map
    Radar | The Radar is a cone-search style with a -5 Degree tilt for finding vessels, though if you really want it will probably work alright for planes.
    You can change the zoom of the radar by interacting with the Radar screen. 1km, 5km, 10km.
    The screen to to the left of the pilot is also a radar display, however they cannot interact with it, that is the job of the operator
    Map | The map can be moved by interacting with the screen, and the zoom function is shown on the screen, as well as the reset function.
  • Refueling
    The Hose Anchors are located in the landing gear bay, one on each side.
  • Entering
    There is a Button on the top of the Canopy.

This plane is part of the first wave of releases for my "The Battered & Banished"(TB&B) Project, an alternate history project inspired by World War 2.
In TB&B, you will find a story of how and why Civilian Machines were called to arms turned into Fighting Vehicles.
These vehicles could be described as "Diesal Punk Lite", with tons of little scrappy and machinery details and greebles scattered over them.

For vehicle mods

  1. Download the .zip archive containing the vehicle mod files.
  2. Locate your game's root folder.
  3. Navigate to rom\data\preset_vehicles_advanced and extract the files there.
  4. Rename both files to something recognizable, ensuring they share the same base name but different extensions.
  5. Launch the game and go to the Workbench's Presets tab to see the new vehicle mod.
