The Ostauto CERV 4x4 (Casualty Evacuation Response Vehicle) is a light battlefield ambulance, to which its name suggests, it’s role is to respond and evacuate casualties from the battlefield. The CERV was developed out of a need by the Newquay Army to be able to quickly get wounded soldiers from the battlefield and to dedicated hospital facilities, where a CASEVAC Flight would either be not possible or impractical, as well as for general use as an ambulance on military facilities. Traditional Ambulances were considered, as were Utility Trucks. However in the case of the former they were found to not be capable of offroad operations, where most casualties were located, and the latter were deemed too valuable assets to convert. As such a third option was presented, which utilised a stretched TUSC 4x4 Chassis. The TUSC having already proved itself for offroad use and reliability, and it’s production in large numbers made it perfect for the job, and as such the CERV was born. Spectators have noted that the presence of emergency beacons and sirens is relatively redundant for a Battlefield Ambulance, however, these were necessary to allow it to legally operate on the roads in Newquay, allowing it to also supplement local ambulance services if needed.

- It handles like you would expect an ambulance to, don’t try to turn sharply at high speed, it shouldn’t roll on flat ground, but you just shouldn’t do that.
- Heart Rate monitor is just a beep when the bed is occupied unless the devs make the bed give player health stats.
- Don’t play with Infinite Electric On, Unless you want the Siren and Emergency Lights on all the time. If you get annoyed with the Siren, I recommend disconnecting there buzzer electrical supply.
