Vanilla Storytellers Expanded is a brand new mod series featuring standalone storytellers, bringing new, unique mechanics to the game.
“Igor Invader holds no regard for boring stories about thriving colonies. The only story worth telling is the one of combat. He will send raids every two or three days, rewarding players for dealing with them swiftly, and punishing player for any losses. This storyteller doubles all weapon damage.”
Igor Invader comes with the following traits:
Constant raids
This storyteller puts emphasis on raids. Raids are guaranteed to occur every 2 to 3 days constantly, until the storyteller is changed. Raids still scale with colony wealth and time.
Enemy reinforcements
This storyteller will reward the player for dealing with enemy raids, but will also punish the player for any casualties. Losing a pawn will trigger a new raid called Reinforcements!, which equals to 1/4 of the normal raid size and belongs the the faction already raiding the player.
Double damage
This storyteller doubles all damage dealt by weapons - both melee and ranged. Game just became 2x more serious.

Q: How do I use this storyteller?
A: Simply swap to this storyteller and all it’s effects will become active. If you want to stop using him, simply swap to another storyteller.
Q: Can I change to this storyteller mid-save?
A: Absolutely!
Q: Does it work with Combat Extended?
A: Absolutely. Combat Extended damage values are also doubled. Remember, it doesn't double armor penetration!
Q: Will you keep updating the mod with new content?
A: This is a singular storyteller mod. Development work on it has been finished.
Q: Is it compatible with X mod?
A: It is compatible with majority, if not all, mods.
Q: Can you recommend another mod to help me use all of these cool storytellers?
A: There is a great mod called Hotseat , which swaps your storytellers every now and then.
Q: I can’t see the damage stat doubled, is it broken?
A: No, it’s a visual bug due to how the stats are displayed. The damage of the weapon itself isn’t doubled, but the damage of the attack is. It means that even if the pistol still says 9 Damage, it will deal 18.
Q: Can I turn off double damage in mod options?
A: No. If you turn off double damage, this storyteller has nothing to offer to you that you can't achieve through scenario editor yourself. Simply set up a new scenario (or edit your current save one) and add regular raids to it.

How do I download and install mods?
Simply click the blue button above. It will open the file hosting page with the mod repacked by us from the official source. How do I install this mod?
See the 'How to install' tab.Is this mod safe to use?
The mods are repacked as is, without any additional software, malware, or bloatware added. To check for viruses, use a reliable antivirus or upload the archive to a website like virustotal.com. Anyway, It's always a good practice to keep backups of your saves in case of mod incompatibility .
There is a folder in the .zip archive. To install the mod, move the entire folder (not just its contents) into 'Mods' folder located under your RimWorld root isntallation folder.
So, for steam version of the game, the path would look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods
For any other distribution, firstly locate your rimworld installation path and then unpack the archive into the 'Mods' folder.
Then enable the mod in the game mods menu by double clicking on its name and restart the game
